Howard Fishman Quartet Vol. 2

A companion to our first CD, HFQ VOL.2 features material recorded by the original HFQ lineup during those sessions but not included in the original release. A collection of mainly standards and traditional material, VOL.2 includes HFQ's take on classics like "On The Sunny Side of The Street,""Stars Fell on Alabama,""Good Old New York,""Old Folks At Home" along with alternate versions of the originals "Good Times" and "Best Days."

Look at All This!

"LOOK AT ALL THIS!", Howard Fishman's fourth studio album, has been completed and is ready for official release. You can purchase your copy HERE and be the first on your block to hear the new batch of HF material. CDs will ship on April 15, so place your order now and take advantage of the limited time offer (details below). "LOOK AT ALL THIS" features 13 brand new Howard Fishman songs, including "Superstitious,""Ocean Avenue," and "Best Is Yet To Come." Howard sings and plays guitar and piano, and is joined by Ian Riggs on bass, Jordan Perlson on drums, Michael Daves on electric guitar, Kevin Louis on trumpet and Mazz Swift on violin and backup vocals.

Whew! Let's Just Play Some Tunes!

After three months of intense work on the new CD, Howard kicks back for a rare duo show with bassist Jim Whitney on Friday, March 4 at Pete's Candy Store in Brooklyn at 9pm (attn: early start!). Don't expect to hear any of the new stuff. In fact, you may not hear anything written in the last 50 years, as Howard and Jim turn the stage at Pete's into their front porch and embark on a mapless exploration of music and sounds familiar and undiscovered.
