Thursdays with HFQ is Moving to Manhattan!

Beginning this Thursday, October 2, HFQ launches a brand-new residency at THE SLIPPER ROOM on the Lower East Side. Though we are sad to leave PETE'S, the good news is that THE SLIPPER ROOM is another intimate performing space AND it's a bit larger, which will hopefully make things a bit less cramped for folks who want to come down and listen.

Please come down this Thursday to hear the band in its new home and help inaugurate what will hopefully be our weekly NYC home for the foreseeable future. Bring your friends! It's a party!

THE SLIPPER ROOM is located at 167 ORCHARD STREET, NYC. Shows are THURSDAYS, beginning OCT 2 from 8pm to 10pm. The band will feature HF, guitar and vocals; Russell Farhang, violin; Jon Flaugher, bass; Kevin Louis, trumpet. The cost is FREE! Though the venue has encouraged us to charge a $5 cover, we want to try to keep offering a pay-what-you-can weekly show for fans new and old. A $5 donation is suggested but not required.
