Romanian Debut

This fall, Howard made his Romanian debut, performing two nights at the Hotel Sighisoura in Transylvania. Upon his return, the band immediately embarked in the start of the LOOK AT ALL THIS! tour, which continues into December. Here is what the local press has had to say:-BR- THE BRATTLEBORO REFORMER: "A tasty and somewhat audacious post-modern singer-songwriter who bends and twists classic genres into his own idiosyncratic musical gumbo. 'Look At All This' [is] an eclectic collection of darkly comedic pop."-BR- BERKSHIRE LIVING: "While Howard Fishman hasn't totally thrown out his old-style, rootsy approach on his latest album 'Strange Woman' is a down-and-dirty Delta blues, 'Katie Lala' is the wildest New Orleans Mardi Gras tune Dr. John hasn't written in twenty years, and gospel meets mariachi on the inspirational 'Best Is Yet to Come' Fishman's new album is most notable for several straightforward, timeless rock songs. Perhaps the opportunity to work with famed producer Rob Fraboni (Bob Dylan, Eric Clapton, The Band) compelled Fishman to play things straight down the middle. In any case, we're all the richer for it on memorable, heartfelt numbers like 'Spiritual' and 'Small Talk,' organic tunes and arrangements that could have been rehearsed at Big Pink."
