And for the Locals...

Thanks to everyone who came down to the Bottom Line show on Dec.27 (please sign the petition at www.savethebottomline.com). It was a very warm, memorable evening made all the more special by all the longtime HFQ devotees in the audience. Manhattanites can purchase tickets now for the HFQ Monday night residency at MAKOR that begins Feb. 2. And for all our Brooklyn comrades, there's a return to Pete's Candy Store on January 9 and our big PARK SLOPE DEBUT at Barbes on January 22!

Big Show at Massmoca in the Berkshires

For those of you up in salty old New England, we invite you up (or down, as the case may be) to North Adams, MA this weekend for a show at one of the greatest and hippest performing arts centers in the country, the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art (MassMOCA). This is truly a mecca for the performing and visual arts, and if you've never been there before, prepare to be pleasantly shocked. Their programming and facilities are nonpareil. For info, please see our schedule page.

West Coast Debut!

Yes, after years of your clamoring for the band to head West, HFQ finally makes its long-awaited debut with two shows in Los Angeles, CA next week (see the schedule page for details)! We did so well in our Chicago debut in May of 2002 that we're now planning our fourth trip back to the great windy city, and hopefully we'll find a similar following in LA. So come on out and tell your friends too: Howard Fishman Quartet is coming to town!
