A remembrance of former Howard Fishman Quartet member, the cornetist Peter Ecklund, has been published in the November online edition of JAZZIZ magazine. Read it here.
Howard and his band embark on a Northeast tour next month, performing his Basmenet Tapes Project in select theaters in New England. The tour coincides with the release of the complete, original Basement Tapes, recorded by Bob Dylan and The Band in 1967 -- music that has been bootlegged for almost forty years, and the inspiration behind Howard's project.
